The 10" Tank is a MMC based on 312 pcs. 680nF@630VDC MKP-Capacitors. The Capacitors were soldered in Strings of 39 for a total voltage resistance of 24570VDC and a capacity of 17,4nF per rail. For the 10inch coil there are 6 to 8 of this strings in parallel for 105-139,5nF@24570VDC.

This is the way it looked like when I got my MMC caps from ebay.

First of all the caps were soldered to a epoxy-rasterplate with a 2,2MOhm resistor across each cap.

The I made two frames out of plexiglass to fit 8 of this 17,5nF modules.

This is one Module with 17,5nF@25KVDC
