This is my first Tesla-Spark I have ever made. The powersupply of the 1" coil was based on a 12V flyback-circuit that delivered around 30W. The streamers are about 30mm long, not a good result, but at this power levels? |

Here is the first light with the neontransformer, the spark to ground is 150mm long, not bad! |

After some trimming the sparklenght increased to about 160mm. The MMC was still 2,2nF |

In this picture another powersupply was used and the capacity of the MMC increased to 5,7nF. The supply was 9KV@50mA. With this configuration I got crazy 250mm Sparks (with a 1 inch coil!!) |

To equilibrate the two resonant circuits, a bigger topload was applied. With this configuration I reached my final spark record of 300mm. That's 2 times the winding length with this 1" coil!! |
